Armed police opened fire and shot an intruder inside the grounds of the Houses of Parliament today after a car skittled into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge, leaving at least 12 people splayed across the ground and 40 injured. Pedestrians and cyclists were hit by the 4×4 vehicle on the bridge before the man, said to have been Asian-looking (‘ASIAN’ = MUSLIM in British speak) and in his 40s, then smashed the car into railings outside Parliament.
