#Technology: Projected Timeline And Order Of Android 7.0 Nougat Update Release

There is no official timeline regarding when the aforementioned devices will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update, but Samsung promises them all within the first half of the year. We do have some clues; however, as far as the projected order of release. Given that the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are currently receiving their Android Nougat update in a worldwide release, we can expect the flagship's more rugged variant, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, to follow suit shortly. Note that although this is likely to be the planned order of release for the Samsung devices mentioned, that could change depending on the results of the software development phase, where issues and delays could arise.
