#Religion: Amazon axes Allah doormats after Birmingham complaints

A muslim councillor has received an apology from online retail giant Amazon – for selling doormats with Allah’s name on them.
The company has also removed the product, which bears the prophet’s name in Arabic script, after being alerted by Mariam Khan, Labour councillor for Washwood Heath. www.birminghammail.co.uk
